Benchmark Analysis: Objectives, Aspirations, and Personal Resolutions in 2021

After a challenging and tumultuous 2020, the new year provides an opportunity to set new goals - both personally and professionally. Our first Arts Executive Poll in 2021 focuses on the objectives, aspirations, and personal resolutions arts leaders have made for this year.  Highlights from the survey include:

• Arts leaders are intent on making progress against their diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility goals -- it was the top focus area for 2021.

• Keeping audiences and long-time donors loyal and supportive were also key goals.

• Personally, health and wellness is at the top of arts leaders' resolution list with many pledging a renewed focus on exercise, being outdoors, and self-care.
