To help think forward to competing stakeholder demands in a post-pandemic environment, our recent Arts Executive Poll surveyed leaders at arts organizations to understand how they are strategizing for the long-term future. Highlights from the survey include:
The majority of arts leaders anticipate efforts around diversity, equity, inclusion, & accessibility and community engagement to remain as important or even more important in 3+ years from now.
This trend is reflected similarly in that leaders believe that talent in education and community outreach and audience insight generation are crucial team skills to cultivate for long-term success.
There is an expected trend of individual donors becoming more philanthropically motivated in the future, and this motive may be enhanced by a stronger focus on demonstrating donation impact to the donor.
