Leila Ghorashi
Executive Director, Research
Leila joins the Advisory Board for the Arts as Executive Director, Research, bringing 15 years of experience in strategic research and advisory services. She served as Head of the Wealth Management Leadership Council at CEB (acquired by Gartner in 2017), a research and strategy consultancy based in Washington DC. In that role she oversaw research, advisory services, and roundtable events for the Council, which, at the time, represented 50% of the world's wealth management companies across North America, Europe, and Asia. The Council provided senior executives with best practices, critical insights, data analytics and tools to enhance their businesses.
She provided strategic guidance to executives on various business issues, including sales and marketing, client experience, branding, human resources, and global industry trends. She was responsible for the Council’s revenue growth, new product launches, and research agenda. Additionally, Leila brings experience from an asset management business where she led sales and marketing initiatives. She also served as Co-Chair of Brown University’s Alumni Interviewing Program in the UK and Ireland between 2016 and 2022.
Leila holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University, a Master of Science with Distinction in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. She has a deep appreciation for the arts and enjoys attending theatre, dance performances, live musical events and art exhibitions. Leila has lived and worked in Washington DC, New York, and London, where she now resides with her husband and two sons.
