Benchmarks on Near-Term Impact of COVID-19

Our members have shared several challenges with us as they adapt to the latest changes from the pandemic. Our latest Arts Executive Poll asked arts leaders about their near-term decisions around COVID-19 health protocols, DEI&A, ticket pricing and more. Highlights from the survey include:

  • The majority of arts organizations are now requiring proof of a COVID-19 vaccine, with a handful also requiring a weekly or daily COVID-19 test before stakeholders return to their venues for live performances and events.

  • Subscription/membership sales are down 40% compared to pre-pandemic levels.

  • 47% of arts leaders were satisfied with the organization's progress on DEI&A over the pandemic, but over a fifth of leaders expected more action.
