Arts Organization Coronavirus Response Benchmarking, November 2

The Advisory Board for the Arts surveyed leaders at arts organizations about their efforts in digital, with a focus on how they are earning revenue via digital while their doors are shut.

Findings include:  

  • 70% of arts organizations are generating revenue from digital - mostly from selling digital tickets and soliciting voluntary donations connected to content.

  • Orgs are having the most success monetizing content on their own website, their YouTube channels, Vimeo, and Facebook.

  • Content created specifically for digital is by far the most successful digital revenue generator.
