Key Benchmarks on Digital and Social Media Engagement

How are arts organizations using digital platforms, particularly social media, to serve their communities during the crisis? We compiled insights from past ABA surveys, Pew Research Center and Statista, and our own examination of members' social media platforms. Our findings show:
Most arts organizations have a broad set of digital objectives, focused on engaging all existing audiences.
A significant majority of arts organizations plan to continue their digital work even after they reopen.
YouTube and Facebook have the greatest potential for arts organizations to reach their audience base, while YouTube is best for reaching beyond channel subscribers.
