ABA Member Tool: Audience Surveys
In 2022, ABA introduced surveys as part of its regular membership offerings. Just like our custom research projects, we will now design and deploy a survey for our members. Most commonly this is an audience or subscriber survey, but we have also designed staff engagement and return-to-work surveys.
To help members better understand how this tool could apply to their own audience understanding, we have shared a sample report below. This anonymized report, conducted on behalf of a theater organization who sought to compare subscribers of their various packages, shows the many different insights members can gain from an ABA audience survey, including:
Assessment of audience connection to your organization
Satisfaction with tickets, subscription packages, visits, etc.
Overall audience demographics
Statistically significant differences in behaviors and qualities based on certain “cuts” of the audience responses
