Our latest ABA Executive Benchmark explored the management of education programs at arts and cultural organizations.
Highlights from the survey include:
Teens and youth are the most commonly served populations of education programs at responding arts and cultural organizations — and generate the most income.
A majority of education programs are now in-person, though some digital and hybrid offerings remain post-pandemic.
Most organizations have maintained their prices for education programs; overall, however, these programs do not bring in a large portion of earned income.
Education programs are staffed in various ways across organizations. A slight majority giving most oversight to full-time staff, but many have shared management with part-time educators.
