In the wake of the recent Ransomware attack on the digital marketing tool WordFly, decisions around technology have never been more important for the secure running of arts and cultural organizations. Our latest Arts Leader Survey asked arts leaders to benchmark themselves on the different platforms they use across different activities, recent changes in vendors, and the features they are most satisfied with when evaluating CRM platforms.
Highlights from the survey include:
Tessitura remains the most popular platform across broad organizational purposes, including for ticketing, for managing donor relationships, for overseeing memberships/subscriptions, and for keeping audience/patron lists.
There is generally good satisfaction with organization's choices in ticketing and development platforms due to their data reporting capabilities and the ability customization to specific genres.
Although the majority of arts organizations have not made any changes to vendors in the last 5 years due satisfaction with current platforms, organizations that did change vendors looked for increased customization capabilities.
Organizations permanently leaving Wordfly due to the recent Ransomware attack are thinking about Prospect2 and MailChimp as alternatives.
