ABA’s approach to Strategic Planning Facilitation is a collaboration in which ABA serves as facilitator and advisor to a planning process that is driven by you, your board, and your team. ABA provides thought leadership, research, and analysis to support you in leading a successful process.
Our Commitment to You
As lead facilitators of your strategic planning process, ABA will:
Participate in regular meetings with strategic planning leadership group to ensure the process is moving forward
Identify issues and opportunities as well as diagnose current status through interviews with key leaders and stakeholders
Design overall approach together with key strategic planning leaders
Facilitate ongoing work of your organization’s staff and board pertaining to strategic planning
Conduct discrete research tasks and analyses and/or designs and runs surveys as needed
Facilitate workshops, board retreats, focus groups, committee working groups, etc., as needed
Act as on-demand advisors throughout the process
Serve as a long-term partner, providing you ongoing monitoring and support as a member of ABA throughout your implementation process
