Who we are
Advisory Board for the Arts (ABA) is the largest membership-based learning organization in the global cultural sector. We use our network, research capabilities, and expertise to gather the best ideas from around the globe to guide your organization to breakthrough solutions and achieve lasting success.
We work with innovative organizations, both large and small, who are working to transform the cultural sector. They range from some of the largest and most prestigious cultural institutions in the world to some of the most inspiring, smaller organizations. Amongst our membership of over 100 organizations across 11 countries are opera companies, ballet companies, orchestras, theaters, performing arts centers, botanical gardens, cultural sites, festivals, schools, and museums—all of whom share a commitment to the exchange of ideas towards the greater good of a thriving arts sector.

Annual membership
ABA is your partner through a sea of change. Our partnerships take the form of multi-year engagements to ensure your lasting success. This time allows us to understand your organization, build institutional memory, and support you throughout. We make recommendations and guide you to the best solutions. We partner with you on implementation, monitoring results, and making course corrections.
Dedicated Member Advisor
Each ABA member has a dedicated Member Advisor who deeply understands your present opportunities and your pressing challenges and translates them into actionable solutions leveraging ABA’s resources.
Virtual and In-Person Meetings
